Laura founded Elis Legal Recruiting, LLC in January of 2019, and has spent nearly 15 years in the recruiting industry. She has worked extensively in the Dallas legal market, both in-house with a boutique law firm and on the agency side. She holds a Master's Degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, where she completed clinical work with SMU's Center for Family Counseling. Laura's true passion is others - she believes in connecting with each client to understand their goals and facilitate the best placement possible. She prides herself in being a resource, advocate, and educator on legal market trends and transitions. Laura is a dedicated wife (yes - to an attorney!), mom to two boys, and lover of cooking and food.
